Add a device

Tap Add on the App Bar, IP CENTCOM will try to discover ONVIF devices on your LAN, and present the following options:

Edit a device

Hold the device's tile on the home page till a context menu pops up. Select "Edit", then edit the settings and save(Add).

Delete a device

Hold the device's tile on the home page till a context menu pops up. Select "Delete", then confirm it.

Set a device as Live Tile back image

Hold the device's tile on the home page till a context menu pops up. Select "Set as Live Tile back image". This works only if IPCENTCOM is pinned to the start screen. The image is updated about every 30 minutes.
You can select "Remove fro Live Tile back" on the menu to remove the device from the live tile back.

Pin a device to the start screen

Hold the device's tile on the home page till a context menu pops up. Select "Pin to start". A Live Tile will be created for this device with its front and back showing the last two snapshots. A snapshot is taken about every 30 minutes.
You can select "Unpin from start" to unpin the device.

Monitor a device's video

Tap a device tile on the home page to start the streaming.
Tap anywhere of the video to show the control overlay for PTZ.
Tap Pause on the App Bar to pause the video. Tap Play on the App Bar to resume the streaming.
Tap Speaker (if available) to mute the audio. Tap Muted(if available) to enable the audio.
Tap "..." and select "snapshot" to take a snapshot. For JPEG encoded video, it snapshot is taken instantly. For H.264 video, the snapshot is retrieved from the device, so it may be up to a few seconds later than what you see on the screen which has a latency. We will improve this as soon as it is technically possible.
Tap "..." and select "video information" to display the information about the video (e.g. resolution, encoding, RTSP handshake time, etc.).
If you have trouble in getting the video and need our assistance, tap "..." and select "email debugging log".

(ONVIF Device) The default single-view mode uses the H.264 video compression. If your device is incapable of handling H.264, please click "Switch to JPEG encoded video" to stream in JPEG mode. The streaming mode can be switched back by clicking "Switch to H.264 encoded video".

Pan/Tile/Zoom (PTZ)

For PTZ camera, flick to pan/tilt, pinch to zoom. You can also click any one of the arrows in four different directions for pan/tilt. Some cameras are not strictly ONVIF conformant, and only accept strictly horizontal pan or strictly vertical tilt. In this case using the arrows is recommended. Zoom can also be achieved by tapping "+"/"-" for zoom-in/zoom-out.
There is a perceived latency primarily due to H.264 video buffering.
(Pro Version)You can choose digital PTZ to replace opto-mechanical PTZ for a PTZ capable camera. Tap "...", then select "digital ptz".
(Pro Version)For cameras supporting ONVIF conformant presets, the preset menu is at the upper-right corner. Click "+ Presets" to expand the menu, select a preset to move the camera to the corresponding position. Tap "x" by a preset to remove it. Enter a new unique name and tap "+" to add a new preset using the current position. Please note that some PTZ cameras may not support ONVIF conformant presets, or support ONVIF conformant preset features partially (e.g. supporting moving a camera to a preset, but no adding new presets).
(Pro Version)For non-PTZ cameras, zero-latency digital PTZ is available. It is performed the same way as the opto-mechanical PTZ.

Custom Commands (Pro)

This is for sending HTTP commands (a.k.a CGI commands) to devices. Please note that IP CENTCOM is primarily focused on ONVIF commands support. This feature is for accommodating some non-ONVIF devices, commands not implemented in ONVIF services or commands not supported by ONVIF.
